GEOList Summary: Trustee-Driven Funds
Does your foundation have a trustee-driven fund set aside (apart from program areas with set guidelines)? How does that fund function? How are funding decisions made? For example, are there designated amounts of funds available to each trustee, or are decisions made by the group of trustees as a whole? If you do not have such a fund set aside, does your foundation have other mechanisms for trustee-driven grantmaking (again, apart from program areas with set guidelines)? What processes do you use?
