GEOList Summary: Programs on Project Management Basics
The Center for Care Innovations works to strengthen California’s healthcare safety net through networking, leadership and grantmaking. Over time, we have received multiple requests for funding programs designed to strengthen basic project management skills among staff within a healthcare organization (e.g. developing a work plan, setting goals, creating timelines, email etiquette, etc.). While most quality improvement programs have a project management component built in, we are interested to know if other funders have programs focused specifically on developing project management skills, and if so, what the general structure of their programs look like. In that, are there any suggestions for companies that offer project management training targeted towards staff within a healthcare organization?
