GEOList Summary: Policies on Risk
Our Foundation's sole focus is to maximize impact by addressing risk in philanthropy. We do this by providing contingency funding to non-profits and co-funding with other donors to help mitigate risk and plan for contingencies. In answer to requests from our peers, we are in the process of building a set of adoptable and adaptable tools to help non-profits and foundations better identify and mitigate risks that could threaten impact. But, we don't want to re-create the wheel. **If your organization has written policies, tools, or templates on risk – however you define it – we invite you to please share them with us via email.** We hope to collect a couple dozen existing policies/templates to inform our efforts. All documents will be kept internal and confidential. You are welcome to anonymize the actual document/tool before sending, if you prefer.
