GEOList Summary: Nonprofit Financial Capacity-Building Best Practices
Due to reductions in public and private funding for many important safety net programs, our local philanthropic community is experiencing increased requests from nonprofits in desperate financial condition (everything from meeting payroll to financial reporting to accounting to fund development, etc.) While we have several local capacity building entities, none specializes in fiscal turnarounds. I am writing to ask if anyone is aware of an excellent model that we might learn from to assist nonprofits in this situation. Thanks much.
