GEOList Summary: Model Foundation Civic Engagement Practices
I am gathering some information on the practices of private and community foundations with respect to public policy and civic engagement. This is primarily from the perspective of foundations as grantmakers but also may include information on civic participation by foundation leaders in their official and individual capacities. Do any of you have or can you suggest exemplary grant guidelines (applications, evaluations or reports), check lists, welcome packets, glossaries or other resources that encourage civic participation?
