GEOList Summary: Making Use of Non-Winning Award Applications
NCB Capital Impact (a national intermediary in the community development field) recently issued an RFP in partnership with The Kresge Foundation to identify and recognize innovative approaches to building healthy communities and addressing the social determinants of health in low-income communities. We received more than 70 applications from community health centers and primary care associations across the country, but we could only make five awards. We are interested in learning about ways to share the inspiring stories and promising practices from the ~65 applicants who did not receive an award. Does anyone have experience with such a situation, or ideas about how to make the best use of the information we have gathered?
