GEOList Summary: Grantee Line-Item Evaluation
Our foundation is interested in allowing grant applicants to include a dedicated line item for evaluation of their grant. I will be developing some guidelines for this over the summer. My question to GEO folks is this: For foundations that allow a line item request for evaluation, do you cap it and if so, is it a percentage cap or a dollar amount cap? Any other guidance on grantee level evaluation (as opposed to the foundation hiring an external evaluator) would be appreciated.
