We are re-assessing our grantmaking approval process to better streamline grantmaking activity. Can you please offer insight and best practice into the following regarding your funding organization: 1. Role of the Board in approving individual grants (All grants? Only grants above a certain threshold? Only high risk grants?) 2. If grant approval is delegated to staff, at what monetary threshold this is done, and who approves at each threshold. 3. If grant approval is delegated to staff, does your organization report to the Board on this grantmaking? What content is presented to the Board?
