GEOList Summary: Grant Agreement Language Query
Recently, the question has been posed whether the Foundation’s grant agreement should contain language specifically stating that the grantee may not expend funds to lobby or attempt to influence legislation, to influence a public election or to support a voter registration drive. We are interested in knowing if the grant agreements of other foundations contain language to that effect and, if so, specifically how the statements are structured. We would appreciate anyone who has this type of language in their grant agreements to send us a sample.
