GEOList Summary: Foundant

The George Foundation has numerous endowed scholarships established at different universities and require each to submit an annual report. We also recently transitioned to using Foundant as our online grant management system. I am interested to learn from GEO members who are also Foundant users how they handle assigning the same grant report to the same grant year after year. We are looking at the following options: 1. Each year copy and create another endowed report form. However, this would mean we would have an infinite number of endowed report forms. 2. Use the same endowed report form, print it out, file the report on our server, and then delete all its content. However, this approach is not feasible. Because of the required fields, the system will not allow you to save the revised form. (Required fields include things like the reporting person’s name.) 3. Redesign a new endowed report form and not include any required fields.
