GEOList Summary: Examples of Quality Databases
We are in the process of investigating a database to enhance communications efforts and streamline grant management. The ideal database would provide newsletter support, enhance advocacy efforts, track online grant applications and assist with knowledge management among other capabilities. Questions for the GEO Community - Do you have a single database to meet communications and grant management needs? If so, which do you recommend? - If you utilize a dedicated communications database, which do you recommend? Why? - If you utilize a dedicated grant management database, which do you recommend? Why? - If applicable, what transition time did you experience from a previous database in one of these areas to your current platform?
