GEOList Summary: Crowdsourcing: Making Data Work, A Resource Guide
I’m currently working on a resource guide focused on collecting, analyzing and effectively storytelling with data. The resource is geared to non-profit professionals but I think it will also be helpful for the philanthropic sector, especially small staff foundations. I’m interested in hearing about the challenges you face (both for yourselves as foundation professionals and for your grantees) when it comes to: 1. Figuring out what data to collect 2. Collecting the data 3. Analyzing and making sense of the data 4. Visualizing and conveying a story with data If you or one of your grantees have overcome challenges in the areas listed above, I’m also interested in hearing how you addressed the challenge and how it can help others. I look forward to hearing from you.
