GEOList Summary: Best Practices in Knowledge and Learning
I am writing to see if you have conducted any analyses on organizational practices/supports for improving knowledge sharing and learning, either internally or with grantees and partners. If so, would you be willing to share your reports or findings with us to advance our research? We’d love to learn from your work and avoid reinventing the wheel. The Postsecondary Success team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is in the process of creating an intentional knowledge sharing and learning practice that can improve how we exchange knowledge internally to sharpen our strategy and externally to scale the impact of our work. We’ve scoured the research base and are interested in learning more from others’ direct experience on approaches to internal and external knowledge management, critical success factors to implementing a sustainable KM practice, and lessons learned for program teams as well as foundation-wide practice.
