We will be streaming this 2018 National Conference plenary on Facebook Live for those of you unable to join us in San Francisco!
Event Details
Organizations seeking to support authentic change on complex, multi-layered issues often find that listening to and being in relationship with impacted communities is central to the work. Hearing from those communities as issues unfold creates opportunities for funders to identify emerging concerns and bolster efforts for insightful, community-driven change.
In this session, we’ll hear from local grantmakers and nonprofits tackling housing insecurity in the Bay Area. As in many communities across the country, rising housing costs have led to complicated, overlapping social problems that funders and nonprofits are partnering to address. Through their stories, we’ll delve into ways that funders and nonprofits are developing a deeper, more nuanced understanding of the communities they serve and the issues they face.
Start: Wednesday, May 2, 8:55 AM Pacific
