Join GEO, as we highlight one session from our Learning Conference 2017, to hear about how we as grantmakers can better support nonprofit learning capacity. We expect the nonprofit sector to produce metrics and data demonstrating results, yet nonprofits and grantmakers often disagree on who should fund those endeavors. At times, nonprofits view evaluation as compliance reporting and less about learning for themselves. This session explores two evaluative capacity-building models for achieving and measuring performance through deeper nonprofit and funder engagement.
